How We Began and Why

In the dawn and dusk of the day they come, in all shapes, sizes and colors - the lost, the abandoned and the feral (never been around human touch).
Some are friendly and obviously left behind or put out from a previous owner. Others, are semi-friendly and in time, become trusting enough for petting and affection.
Others - who are truly feral - are never able to be touched, but we love them from afar.
Each and every day they wait for their one meal, very thankful and appreciative of each one, and seemingly thanking us with their blinking eyes and grateful faces.
A truly rewarding and heart-warming experience to know that for this day, they have a full stomach. An amazing eye-opening experience to know of this epidemic of homeless cats living on the streets (everywhere)....behind restaurants, near dumpsters, in alleys, in apartment complexes, and subdivisions. This is a reality that is foreign to most people and who have no idea of the number of homeless cats living on the streets everywhere. This eye-opening epidemic, also foreign to us, until our introduction to a feral colony many years ago..... a point of no return once we were aware.....how could we possibly turn our backs on them.
Many years of cat feeding, care taking and being a friend to many cats.....A Cat's Friend, Inc. was born.
